It is time to live out your space wizard dreams. The new event is live from now until May 23 ending at 9:00 am EST. Here, players can follow the light or dark side path by choosing a teacher. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi serve as Jedi teachers. Meanwhile, Darth Maul teaches you the way of the Sith.
Choosing a teacher allows you to step through a rift, return with a lightsaber, and be empowered by the Force. Additionally, players sprint faster and have a double jump while using their lightsaber. The lightsaber behaves as a melee weapon and can block incoming fire.
Consequently, each teacher within the “Find the Force” event grants a unique lightsaber color and ability.
- Anakin Skywalker
- Force Pull – pull players and objects toward you
- Grants a blue lightsaber
- Obi-Wan Kenobi
- Force Push – push players and objects away from you
- Grants a green lightsaber
- Darth Maul
- Force Throw – Lift environmental objects around you and throw them at players
- Grants a red lightsaber
Players can only have one teacher per match. However, their lightsaber and abilities will remain until you are eliminated, the match ends, or you drop the weapon. Players needing more firepower can find Republic Chests scattered around the island. These chests contain DC-15 blasters and are powerful at medium to long-range encounters.
Quests and Cosmetics
The “Find the Force” event has a unique battle pass. Subsequently, the free and premium tiers both contain cosmetics that sing to the heart of any Star Wars fan. Completing the free tier awards the Clone Trooper outfit. Meanwhile, the premium tier grants the Darth Maul outfit.
Players gain progress in the event by earning Galactic Reputation. These are tied to “Find the Force” quests. Subsequently, they range from normal gameplay objectives such as: learning from a teacher, doing damage with your lightsaber, opening Galactic Chests, and so on. Lastly, these quests are spaced as a trilogy and released weekly. A Sith Holocron is earned after completing twelve quests in a set. Consequently, earning three Sith Holocrons will award players the Sith Infiltrator Glider. Here are the sets for “Find the Force.”
- The Force Within – quests are now live
- Begun the Clone Wars Have – quests launch on May 7 at 9 am EST
- Fall of the Republic – quests go live on May 12 at 9 am EST
Along with the outfits and cosmetics in the event pass, the shop brings exciting Star Wars bundles for players to purchase. These include bundles for Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala, and more throughout the event.
