Last year was filled with many incredible games, both big and small. From classical experiences like Octopath Traveler 2 to the game of the year, Baldur’s Gate 3, there was a premium buffet to choose from what seemed like every other day. But one of the rare gems of the year was 8-Bit Adventures 2, which we were given the opportunity to review. While it helped to kickstart the year on PC, the developers worked tirelessly on bringing the highly scored title to consoles, and for those who are still waiting on their preferred console of choice, 8-Bit Adventures 2 will be launching next month on all modern consoles!
When to Expect 8-Bit Adventures 2 on Consoles
Thanks to their partners at Ratalaika Games, 8-Bit Adventures 2 will be arriving on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch on October 16th for $19.99. 8-Bit Adventures 2 is a very retro styled turn-based RPG with a very emotionally charged story that never takes its foot off the gas. From exciting set pieces, to on rail segments, and even a cool in air mini game, the experience provided by the game is filled with plenty of variety and nostalgic vibes that go far beyond the game’s art style.
The game will be fairly challenging but will have a ton of customization and special attacks like a “limit break”-like system that helps alleviate any obstacle in gameplay, even in the games later moments.
8-Bit Adventures 2 will launch on all modern consoles at $19.99 and it is a steal at that price. All fans of turn based games both new and old should keep this game on their radar, the journey is something you should not miss as it was lovingly crafted for years by a very small team of developers that would never settle for “good enough”.
