Rumor – Isleweaver in Warframe May Launch at the End of June

Every week, Digital Extremes hosts a weekly short devstream, appropriately names, Devshorts. These weekly streams happen every Tuesday, and as such, yesterday’s stream was quite eventful. As not only did they go over some details regarding the next major update for Warframe, Isleweaver. They may have leaked a potential time frame for this update to go live.

When Isleweaver May Come Out for Warframe

During this weeks Devshorts, they had on Megan Everett, the Community Director of Digital Extremes, and Geoff Crookes, the Creative Director for Soulframe. During this stream they went over some of the details for Isleweaver. But one thing that has been left up to interpretation is when that update will launch. Obviously they said it will be launching in June during Devstream 188, but during this weeks Devshorts, they may have leaked that it is arriving at the end of the month.

Geoff said during the stream he was shocked that a big update like Isleweaver for Warframe would be dropping before TennoCon. Megan followed that comment up with a look back on Jade Shadows launching in early June and stopped herself before she could confirm that it may launch at the end of June or the middle of this month. Considering Digital Extremes is known for launching updates on Wednesdays, this could indicate a launch date of June 18th-26th.

While it could launch next week as well, the comments indicate at Digital Extremes giving the update more time to cook before TennoCon this year (even though it is just a matter of a few weeks. Currently they have put a freeze on Hotfixes as well. So the update may be imminent, or may fall between the days I theorized. But one thing is for certain, the small slip up was definitely unintended, and admittedly funny.

Isleweaver will see players return to Duviri to take on the Indifference and the Murmur. This is due to Rusalka from Warframe: 1999 taking the Dreamlands throne from Dominus Thrax. More details can be found in the official trailer down below!
