The Athodai has always been in a weird spot in Warframe. The original version is honestly pretty hard to farm for, and it needed a Nightwave mod to lift it up in the meta. While its passive seemed like a gimmick back in the day. But now, with its new updated stats, it stands as an honestly hilarious choice in endgame content. Below will be our recommended build for it!
Recommended Build for Athodai Prime
Below will be the build we have for the Athodai Prime. You will need only 1 forma for it:

The Athodai Prime is a critical-focused weapon, so it’s best to stack all your chips into that. Using a combination of the usual damage mods, go for Primed Target Cracker and Pistol Gambit. As well as Magnetic Might and Sharpened Bullets to pile on the critical damage output. Considering Pain Points is the “Athodai specific” mod, make you combine it with Secondary Deadhead and aim for headshots, trust me.
Athodai Prime Review in Warframe
As far as it goes, the Athodai Prime is a really good sidearm. It takes a really unique mod and a lot of endgame level stuff thrown onto it to make it worth it, sure. But when you’re just blasting away with it in Steel Path? It is a ton of fun! I only wonder why this was chosen for Styanax Prime’s Access, as it does feel a little out of place, but again, it is a really powerful pistol. Couple this with the fact that the grind for the original gun is monotonous in Railjack, and it feels more like wanting to compensate for those who have yet to give it a fair shake. As such, you should absolutely grind (or trade) for it in Warframe!
