NBA 2K20 & Nintendo Switch Top September NPD

The latest videogame console and hardware results have arrived courtesy of NPD Group analyst Mat Piscatella.

For the month of September, the Nintendo Switch was once again the best selling console for the month.  While NBA 2K20 was the best selling software title of September.

Overall sales growth breakdown per September NPD results:

• Total: $1,278 million (Down from September 2018)
• Hardware: $240 million (Down from $307 million September 2018)
• Software: $732 million (Down from $761 million September 2018)
• Accessories and Game Cards: $306 million (Down from $328 million September 2018)
