MLB The Show 21 has been on the Xbox family of consoles for a little over a week now. If you purchased the Jackie Robinson Edition you’ve been playing since the 16th. Are you still having issues getting that 100 home run achievement? I have an easy way for you to gain that and a little more.
Players can unlock three simple achievements just by hitting home runs in MLB The Show 21. Most players might take some time getting these three unlocked. The first is hitting 25 home runs, something that seems so easy. As you play through the game that achievement will unlock. It doesn’t matter what mode you play as long as you just play the game.
With the large number of games being added to Xbox Game Pass, this task might seem like something that a player won’t obtain right away. In fact, you can earn this and the other home run achievements quickly. All you need to do is find a little time and play the Home Run Derby mode. The best way to do this is to start offline with an 8v8 match. Make sure that you have players from the Grounders or Boomers, most of those players are in the 95-99 power range. Pick the park that you think would best suit your time playing, also pick the 4-minute sessions for each batter. That will make it easier to hit plenty of home runs in MLB The Show 21.
The longer the time the more energy you will use up. Make sure to call a time out to regain some of that energy so you will continue to hit the long ball. Below is a quick video of Cal Ripken Jr. vs Hank Aaron. By the end of this matchup, I’ve already hit 32 home runs. You will still have plenty of players to utilize to unlock these achievements in MLB The Show 21. The rest of these achievements can be earned as you play through each mode.
