A New Breath of The Wild 2 Trailer Reveals 2022 Release Date

Breath of The Wild 2

To be blunt, there are simply a small handful of games that are part of the upcoming Nintendo Switch lineup, that a large portion of the fanbase is waiting for. While seeing more about games like Metroid Prime 4, and Bayonetta 3 would be incredible right now. Realistically there is one game, that we definitively know is closer to release than those games, and what might that game be? Well, that would be the sequel to 2017’s massive blockbuster Zelda: Breath of The Wild, which has simply been titled Breath of The Wild 2.

Breath of The Wild 2

During today’s Nintendo Direct we got to see a brief look at the upcoming Breath of The Wild 2. While the title of the game is still officially listed as the “sequel” to Breath of the Wild, in this short teaser we got to see and experience what we can expect from the game. Massive landscapes with incredible verticality, which were a key factor in the first installment. Seem to be scaled even bigger this time around, while the trailer is just under 2 minutes long. It’s hard to not let your mind wander to what, and how they are going to fill this world. We will have to wait a little longer to find out, as Breath of The Wild 2 is not set to release till 2022. There is no official month or date at this time. We will no doubt hear more about the game when Nintendo is ready to share more information.
