The Taipei Game Show gave an over 45-minute update on Elden Ring, the upcoming open-world RPG by FromSoftware and George R.R. Martin. At the 40 minute mark of the video, producer Yasuhiro Kitao assured fans that indeed the game was finished and that the team is currently working on a day one patch.

In addition to the interview at the 3:30 mark of the video, a new story trailer can be found. The new trailer details the dark fantasy elements as well as what Kitao describes as two new key elements. Elden Ring uses an “Open Field” level design. The other new element is a “profound” “multi-layered” story.

Along with this news comes another tidbit from PlayStation Network sleuth, PlayStation Game Size. They have discovered the PS5 version of Elden Ring will weigh in at 44.472 GB without the day one patch. Along with a pre-load date of February 23rd.
