Combat is simple, yet satisfying in Cult of the Lamb. Another simple aspect of the game’s combat is enemies’ tell for when they are about to attack. Enemies will blink white right before dishing out the hurt. So keep a lookout and be sure to dodge out of the way.
Follow the Stars and Moons
One of the best Cult of the Lamb tips you can take away is sometimes right under your nose. Well, in this case, hanging above. When you’re on a crusade run, keep an eye out for hanging moons and stars. This means that Clauneck, the tarot card vendor, is in the next room.
Hanging Weapons Are a Good Sign
Similar to the hanging moon and stars, if you see hanging weapons, be sure to venture to that room. That is because the next room over will offer you the choice to select different weapons or curses (abilities).

If You’re Low on Gold Recycle Old Curses (Abilities)
It’s likely you’ll be low on gold coins during crusades. So, if an option to recycle your old curse (ability) for some gold coins be sure to accept. It’s free gold that will come in handy later.

The Fervor of the Righteous is great when it comes to curses. The passive ability provides you with more fervor to cast curses on enemies during crusades. So, be sure to unlock it early on to use your abilities more often.

First, you’ll pick up some grass resources which you can use to cook and for buildings and decorations. That is why it is important to keep a lot of body pits ready so you can quickly dispose of their bodies. Also, be sure to collect any items you have given fallen followers. Your other followers will frown upon that act, but it’s a gift that can be given to someone else.
Synergize Gifts with Followers’ Tasks
You can gift different necklaces to your followers that give them special buffs. Some of the buffs include increasing their prayer/work rate. Other times it keeps your followers from sleeping so they can continue their task 24/7. So it’s best to link the item with the follower’s task. In other words, give an increased prayer rate necklace to a follower you tasked with praying, not one who’s collecting stones to make the most out of the item.

Sweeping up poop, vomit, and other disgusting bodily fluids will keep your followers’ healthy and free from illness. So be sure to regularly scan your camp area thoroughly to deal with any messy leftovers.

Occasionally, followers will prompt you with quests for your to complete. Doing so will reward you with increased loyalty. So, be sure to regularly complete followers’ quests to keep them in line. Some of the quests are straightforward forward like conducting certain rituals or fetch quests.
Bonus Cult of the Lamb Tips – Build Offering Statues
