There is always a wealth of different games being added to Xbox Game Pass constantly. Typically, there are two batches of games added throughout each month. With a total of usually around 10 games being added to the service. The games added usually range from unique indie titles to sometimes major AAA releases. Sometimes we have even seen titles be shadow-dropped onto the service with little to no announcement. It appears that this may have happened tonight, as Dead Island 2 is currently appearing on Xbox Game Pass.
As originally shared by Wario 64 on Twitter, it appears that Dead Island 2 was just added to Xbox Game Pass. The hack-and-slash zombie sequel to the original Dead Island which was released back in 2011. Builds upon the foundation of creative dismemberment of the undead hilariously. The title received good reviews at launch to the surprise of many, as the game had been stuck in development since early 2014, switching developers several times. Now, Xbox Game Pass subscribers should now be able to jump in on this zombie-killing action. No official word if the game will be on PC Game Pass as of yet.
