State of Play May 2024: Silent Hill 2 Remake Gameplay

Despite a late announcement, Sony is kicking off the 2024 summer showcase season with its State of Play. The showcase will unveil what PlayStation’s roadmap will be for the next 12 months. Silent Hill 2 Remake Gameplay Details

The remake for the game is boasting some higher level of graphical fidelity. But the gameplay looked very slow and methodical. With some technical hiccups and the creatures being a little underwhelming in their presentation. The voice acting seems serviceable right now as well. But it was a very small showing, with more being shown at the Silent Hill Transmission stream. Where they showed off more cinematic shows, and the general tone of the game when exploring.

The Silent Hill 2 remake is being developed by Bloober Team. Who created IPs such as Layers of Fear, and Observer, with an interesting deviation with The Medium

The game is slated for launch on October 8th for the PlayStation 5 and PC for $69.99 with a Deluxe Edition for $79.99.
