Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 Showcase Breakdown

Yesterday, Hoyoverse went over all of the new content coming to Version 1.1 of Zenless Zone Zero. After a month of being available for players to sink their time into, Hoyoverse is set to release this big content patch on August 14th, and here is what you can expect.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.1 Breakdown

Zenless Zone Zero is a free-to-play fast paced action game with a lore rich world, and fascinating story. So, it is only natural for Hoyoverse to add a little bit more of everything. Starting with the new story chapter “Undercover R&B”, which will focus on the Public Security faction, and a mysterious new character called Jane Doe.

Players will be able to take control of Jane during the story in certain missions, and they mentioned that they are looking into allowing players to take control of other characters in free roam sections. Such as Lumina Square, and Sixth Street. You will also be able take on a new Agent Story with Qingyi called “The Case of a Missing Bangboo”.

There will also be three new characters for you to acquire. Jane Doe herself, Qingyi, and another new character named Seth, who will be the first character to have a shield that can offer support to other characters in your squad. All three characters will be arriving with signature W-Engines. These will, of course require Tapes to pull for and hopefully get if you are lucky.

A new Bangboo will be arriving in Version 1.1, called Officer CUI.

They also talked about a new game mode called “Inferno Reap” that will be a time trial to deal as much damage to Nineveh as you can before the time runs out. Depending on how much damage you deal, you can earn Polychromes which are needed to buy Tapes, and story clue items. You will need to first finish “Withering Garden – Core” to unlock this game mode when Version 1.1 comes out.

They will also be adding the option to take selfies when taking pictures in free roam.

There will also be a new mini game of repairing customers video players for rewards as well.

Finally, they will be adding a new game mode where you work with Public Security to do what seems like service work for various characters for rewards.

At the launch of Version 1.1 of Zenless Zone Zero, you can log in and earn up to 10 free Encrypted Tapes, and 10 free Boopons to try your luck at the new characters and Officer CUI.
