Warframe: Frost Prime 2024 Build

In the Jade Shadows update in Warframe, Frost, and subsequentially Frost Prime got some stealth buffs. From his abilities now having instant real freeze effect, to some augment changes. He feels much better to use, and someone you should consider bringing back into your roster. But first, let us go over the build I have been using in endgame content as of this update, such as Netracells, and Archon Hunts.

Frost Prime Build in Warframe

Below are the mods I chose, with Arcanes included:

So, this build is a little incomplete, because I keep going back and forth with Icy Avalanche and Biting Frost. Icy Avalanche offers unlimited Overguard at times, and Biting Frost goes hand in hand with the Tenet Glaxion. Which I highly recommend using with Frost, and you can find a build for it here.

First let us go over the flaws, obviously the 125% power strength and 78% duration are cause for alarm initially. But Precision intensify ups the power on Avalanche for extra Overguard gains, while Arcane Ice Storm adds, once maxed out, another flat 40% for both power strength and duration. Combined with Molt Efficiency, you will average out, in combat, 154% power duration, and 165% strength with Precision Intensify boosting the multiplier to Avalanche to 245%.  As for the rest of the build, you can go for a standard Flow if you do not Archon Flow. I use it for the free energy orbs. If I had to recommend an Exilus slot mod, go for either Cunning Drift or Power Drift.

Below are the Archon Shards I used for this build:

Obviously, you can be flexible with these in Warframe. Sadly, I ran out of Tauforged Crimson Shards to add higher stats for power strength and duration. I subsumed Nourish onto him in place for his first ability, and I do highly recommend doing this.

But to cap this off, Frost feels much better to use now. The extra added armor from freezing foes, and the snowglobe being able to be shot into as well as out of makes it much more useful and less of a hinderance. I hope my build helps you, Tenno!
