If you can believe it, TennoCon 2026 is almost a week away, which is crazy to think about. The annual event for all things related to Digital Extremes always goes hard in the paint with exciting reveals, announcements, giveaways, and much more. Today, however, the community was given a very mysterious and ominous new teaser trailer for what will be shown during TennoLive at 6 pm ET. We all know that the next major update for Warframe is Tau. But we don’t really know what tone or form it was going to take. Well, that is until this recent teaser trailer. Below will be a breakdown of what we saw in it!
What We Learned from the New Warframe Teaser Trailer for TennoLive
This new trailer featured Albrecht Entrati with narration. Speaking of relatives and old friends in reference to the Tenno. What piqued the interest of the player base the most was what was said at the end. Albrecht asking if it was exciting, and another voice that may be Pazuul from Veilbreaker said that “Everyone is running from something”. The narration was ominous and really set the tone properly.
But alongside the trailer was a lot of cool imagery. A scene of cards with the face of a character presumed to be Nitokh (whom Roathe in The Old Peace described as a very evil Orokin, “worse than Ballas” somehow). Followed by dead sentient bodies, a scene of the Lotus with her arm burned in what looks like an Orokin tower of Lua, and a mysterious character putting on a mask.

Who this character may be is definitely a mystery. It could be a major character in the story, or it could be the warframe arriving in Tau at the end of the year. Where this trailer takes place is even more mysterious. It could be a location in the Tau system, or Preghasa. We will find out next Saturday, however!
