Grounded Content Update Pushed One Day Early To August 26th.
The content update for Grounded that is set to launch on the 27th, has now moved a day early – now set for August 26th with teases detailed. Grounded is a brand new hit co-op survival game from Obsidian. The creators of The Outer Worlds, Knights of the Old Republic II, and a whole lot more. Earlier in August, Grounded posted a short video onto social media thanking fans for the support. While also announcing monthly content updates for the game, and Grounded reaching one million players.
There is only a week left to go until the first big content update. The twitter account for Grounded posted a short video teasing a tiny portion of what’s to come in this month’s update. If you know where the lone Hot Dog is in Grounded, you have a general idea of where you may already be heading on August 26th. Initially, the content update was initially set for August 27th, but it looks like they are comfortable enough to release it a day early, which is a good sign.

Is That A Boot Print..?
In this little teaser video, we get some exciting things to see. First is a large, buried trap door by a Hot Dog. It looks like a hatch to an underground science lab, but the lid is pretty significant. Maybe it could harbor some vehicle or something more sinister such as a trap door spider..? Or the best cookie ever, an Oreo! It definitely looks like an Oreo. Thanks to @ThePilgrimz on twitter for pointing it out. I still like my conspiracy theory better… Just saying!
Another nice little tease we get to see is the addition of a sprig railing. A rope railing that will probably only consist of Woven Fiber and Sprig to create. A railing will be a lovely addition to decorations for base building.
The last thing you get to see at the very end of the video is what appears to be a boot print in the ground.
This is an exciting teaser video. The content update should be a reasonably impactful one, hopefully. On August 26th, Grounded is set to let fans to explore more of the mysteries of the backyard.
