It is never a quiet life out on the Sea of Thieves. Rare have been hard at work since last week’s Sea of Thieves hotfix to bring more improvements based on community feedback. With that hard work comes today’s hotfix, which once again focuses on the new A Pirate’s Life expansion.

While the previous hotfix was purely bug-focused, this one looks to also provide a helping hook to players through some game and level design tweaks.
Sea of Thieves Hotfix Release Notes
The Bayou section of the ‘Captains of the Damned’ Tall Tale has had several adjustments. With an extended straight at the entrance and a few T-junction rocks, Rare hopes to make your sailing through the Bayou just that bit smoother. To further encourage the use of a crew’s ship, Captain Jack’s compass will now point back towards it once the ghostly barrier dissipates.
The rest of the hotfix remains focused on the “A Pirate’s Life” Tall Tales. The opening chapter, ‘A Pirate’s Life’, receives the most attention with 7 of the total 15 hotfixes. A single universal fix finds its way in this time. Fully unloaded weapons will no longer instantly reload when collecting ammo from an ammo chest.
As with every Sea of Thieves hotfix, there is a download waiting to greet you upon arrival. Steam users require a 2.08GB download, Windows 10 users a 2.92GB download and Xbox users will have between 2.3GB and 3.43GB depending on which console.
