Warframe – Excalibur Umbra Build

Excalibur is the poster child for Warframe, and in Warframe: 1999, has proto-frame version of itself that plays a key role in the story. But this warframe, and its prime and Umbra version have been in the game for many years. So much so, that any veteran of the game will have a differing build from any new player. The build we are going over will be a modern take, and one aimed at the Excalibur Umbra version you get from The Sacrifice quest.

Warframe Excalibur Umbra Build

Below is the build I have been using for the better part of 5 years now, with small revisions over the years, you will need at least one forma for this build:

Excalibur Umbra came out with the Umbral Mod set, and as such, if you get enough credits and endo to max them out, alongside a Primed Continuity, and the mods you see above. Excalibur Umbra will be a very strong multi-purpose warframe. Having a 75% efficiency build, with a positive duration stat helps ensure his Exalted Blade is always active. Arcane Strike helps that same blade swing faster, with roar subsumed for extra damage. All topped off with Arcane Energize for a steady energy regeneration.

Below is the build I have for the Exalted Blade:

Similar to Excalibur Umbra, the Sacrificial Mod set is essential, with Chromatic Blade benefitting from a Red emissive color to make a gas, radiation and magnetic set up for the Exalted Blade. Finally, below will be the Archon Shard setup:

Obviously, these options can be changed out for anything else that you see fit. Seeing as Archon Shards are mostly for flavor. Excalibur Umbra as a whole, is a warframe you will be using for a long time, he is built to last, and with this build, you will be able to use him in every endgame activity.
