New Blood Interactive and developer Saibot Studios have revealed new details for Tenebris Somnia ahead of its October 16, 2026 release. The upcoming 2D survival horror game will launch with a discounted price of $19.99 alongside aggressive regional pricing in select markets. The publisher also confirmed the game’s age ratings and additional discounts for players who already own FAITH: The Unholy Trinity.
Tenebris Somnia Launch Pricing Revealed
Tenebris Somnia will normally retail for $24.99 digitally, but New Blood Interactive is offering a 20% launch discount that drops the price to $19.99 during the game’s launch window.
Owners of FAITH: The Unholy Trinity will receive an additional discount. New Blood also plans to use aggressive regional pricing, particularly throughout Latin America, in an effort to make the game more accessible to players around the world.
The publisher said it will attempt to maintain similar pricing when the game arrives on consoles. Bundles with games from partners including Team17, Critical Reflex, and DreadXP are also planned.
Physical editions are currently available for pre-order through Lost In Cult, with prices ranging from £29.99 to £59.99 depending on the platform and edition.
A Different Take on Survival Horror
Developed by Saibot Studios, Tenebris Somnia combines retro 2D survival horror gameplay with live-action cinematic sequences.
Players will have to carefully manage limited health and ammunition while solving puzzles and surviving the horrors waiting throughout the game.
New Blood Interactive CEO Dave Oshry described the project as survival horror built around the limited resources and puzzle-solving associated with classic entries in the genre, while highlighting Saibot Studios’ live-action cinematics as one of the elements that sets the game apart.
Tenebris Somnia Receives Mature Rating
Ahead of launch, Tenebris Somnia has officially received an M for Mature rating from the ESRB for violence, blood, gore, and strong language. The game has also received a PEGI 18 rating in Europe. Tenebris Somnia launches on October 16, 2026.
