CES 2024: HyperX Gaming Line-Up | OMEN Transcend 14 OLED Laptop & Gaming Monitor
The Iron Lords are back on the show floor. This time, our very own Lord Cognito is covering the HP CES 2024 preview event in downtown New York. During the preview, we got a closer look at the upcoming HyperX gaming accessories line-up, along with the impeccable OMEN Transcend OLED laptop and gaming monitor. HyperX Alloy Rise Gaming Keyboards
The Alloy Rise is a mechanical gaming keyboard that comes in 75% and 100% sizes. Key switches are hot-swappable but also provide additional customization via the magnetic top plates, badges, and more.
The keyboard also has an ultra-responsive 8k polling rate. The Alloy Rise features pre-lubed HyperX Linear Switches rated for up to 80 million key presses as well as pre-installed with HyperX PBT Keycaps.
The Alloy Rise gets an upgraded RGB experience with its ambient light sensor that can auto-adjust the brightness when needed. Up to 10 keyboard profiles can be saved directly to the keyboard and customized via HyperX’s proprietary NGENUITY Software. HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Mini
Next in line is the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Mini. Similar to last year’s Pulsefire Haste 2 offering, the mouse comes in both wired and wireless options and black and white. The mouse is now 16% smaller and weighs in at only 59 grams.
The Pulsefire Haste 2 Mini comes equipped with HyperX’s own 26K Sensor. It’s capable of up to 26,000 DPI natively and can track at speeds up to 650 IPS. The mouse features HyperX mouse switches which are rated for up to 100 million clicks. All the while providing tactical and audible feedback producing a pronounced clicking experience.
The wireless variant connects via 2.4 GHz wireless or uses Bluetooth Mode to connect to compatible devices. The Pulsefire Haste 2 wireless has up to 100 hours of battery life and can be used while charging.

HyperX Clutch Tanto Mini WD Gaming Controller
For those parent gamers out there who want to get their little ones in on the fun, this one is for you. The HyperX Clutch Tanto Mini WD gaming controller is specifically designed for younger gamers. The Tanto has a small form factor that should suit smaller grips. In addition, the triggers are specifically designed for younger players to easily reach and press them.
The controller is officially licensed by Xbox and only comes in a wired version, similar to 2023’s HyperX Clutch Gladiate controller. The Tanto weighs in at 240g (8.5 ounces). The controller can also be used on PCs, Steam Deck, and compatible Android devices.
HyperX Cloud Mini Headset
The HyperX Cloud Mini is a comfortable headset that is built for gamers between the ages of 6-12. It comes in both wired/wireless options. Weighing in at 132g (4.65 ounces), the Cloud Mini is designed for smaller heads.
The headset will sport immersive sound through its 30mm drivers. The Cloud Mini is designed to keep volume levels safe for developing ears.
The headset will automatically keep audio below 85 dB. The Cloud Mini also comes with a durable flip-to-mute mic system.
The ear cups are rotatable, so children can comfortably wear the headsets around their necks.
OMEN Transcend 14 Laptop
The OMEN Transcend gaming laptop is the lightest gaming laptop to feature a 14-inch OLED 120 Hz panel.
The laptop weighs in at only 1.63kg (3.59 lbs) and sports a Nvidia 4000 series GPU and Intel Ultra 7 or 9 CPU.
Battery life should last around 11.5 hours (according to MobileMark 25).

OMEN Transcend 32 UHD 240Hz Gaming Monitor
The OMEN Transcend gaming monitor is the world’s most advanced gaming monitor. It features a 31.5” 4K UHD [3840 x 2160] QD-OLED 240 Hz panel. The monitor can output 1000 nits of peak brightness.
The monitor has a 0.03ms response time. It also comes equipped with one 2.1 Display Port and two HDMI 2.1 ports.
